Wendy Tomm, from Beyond the Walls had her hands full with the job of staging our 66 year old home on the edge of Elmwood in East Kildonan.

“We are realtors and know the value of staging a home. We used Wendy for the first time on a New Home we listed on Cindy Klassen Way, the builders loved the way the staging showed their house to its best advantage. The home sold shortly thereafter. Because of this experience we decided to use Wendy on our own home.
We had two weeks to get our home on the market – no time for huge changes but we knew it needed something to give it an updated feel. Wendy did a quick walk through, gave us some ideas for simple color changes on our front and garage doors, couple of bathrooms and hallway. She then made notes as to what we should remove and what she would bring in. With the few changes, rearranging of our own furniture, some plants and current artwork she made our home look fantastic…so much so our age twenty-something kids didn’t want to leave. Our home ended up selling for $29,000 more than we listed it for in 5 days and we know it had a lot to do with “feel” of the home when people walked in.
Wendy is very efficient, organized and accommodating. She has a quick eye for seeing what needs to be done and did not push us to do more than we were able. She just did some “tweaking” on a listing we have that is not selling…again the homeowner is thrilled with the results of just a few simple changes…and she did it on VERY short notice.
